Yes, there should be a place you can travel to enjoy the peaceful and quiet  Numedalen, go for long walks on the forest roads in the mountains, harvest berries in summer and autumn, go skiing in winter. The ski lifts in northern Numedalen are less than an hour away; Fossanåsen should be a reasonable alternative for those who want to get to the mountains. It should also be a place where the extended family can gather for a party, whether it is a wedding, confirmation, baptism, birthday or family reunion. It should also be a place where one can gather for reflection after, for example, a funeral.

From May 2021, a 12-hole mini golf facility has been established. For hikers, there are three hiking trails of different lengths that run from Fossanåsen

We will offer favorable packages that include accommodation, serving food and drinks in the fireplace lounge and restaurant and preferably live music in the Festival Hall.

Fossanåsen will also be a place where something happens: Concerts with well-known and unknown artists, dance in the Festival Hall and events in collaboration with all the other active teams, associations and companies in Numedalen.

Fossanåsen should be a place with local roots, a place those who live in the local area like to stop by to meet others, have dinner, enjoy a glass with something good in the fireplace lounge.

In recent years, Fossanåsen has undergone a complete renovation of large parts of the building stock and now has 20 nice rooms of different sizes available in the main building. Furthermore, the guesthouse with budget rooms and apartments has been upgraded.

Fossanåsen has all rights to serve alcohol, has a newly renovated kitchen with chef so we are ready to receive guests!
